Temecula, California – The Heart of the SoCal Experience

Located 90 minutes south of Los Angeles and one-hour north of San Diego, the Temecula Valley is an easy drive to almost anywhere in Southern California.

Our central location makes Temecula ideal for business and vacation travelers eager to see everything SoCal has to offer, including world famous beaches, Disneyland, the San Diego Zoo, and Palm Springs.

But Temecula itself is the real attraction, with award-winning wineries, championship golf courses, Pechanga Resort & Casino, spas, miles of hiking and biking trails, horseback riding, world-class dining, shopping, and entertainment, plus the rich history of Old Town—established in 1859.

Wine and Food Lover’s Paradise

Temecula’s lush wine country is home to more than 40 wineries, many of which offer tasting rooms, dining venues, wine pairing dinners, demonstration cooking classes, and live entertainment.

In addition to its celebrated vineyards, Temecula boasts an eclectic food scene ranging from rustic to refined with mid-century-style diners, authentic Mexican eateries, organic local cuisine, gastropubs, elegant restaurants, and much more! Temecula’s historic Old Town also offers excellent dining as well as tasting rooms featuring local wines and craft beers.

Temecula Day and Night

From the heights of a sunrise balloon ride to the sights of historic Old Town, you’ll find no end of things to do in Temecula!

Golfers can pursue their passion at our seven public courses, including two designed by golf legend Arthur Hills. Temecula offers more than a challenging round on a championship course. Its fairways are distinguished by sweeping views, sparkling streams, shady oak and sycamore groves, and sunny skies virtually all year round.

When the sun goes down, the lights go up at Pechanga Resort & Casino. Rated Best Casino by US News and World Report, Pechanga is the largest casino in the western United States.

Temecula is also home to year round festivals celebrating the culture, creativity, and craftsmanship of talented local artists and performers.

Guest Access

Our wine and horse country retreat features a private gated entrance to ensure your security and peace of mind throughout your stay. Because Sweet Oaks is located on a working Equestrian Ranch, we must limit your access to your own private entrance gate, driveway, the entire home, and its fenced-in backyard.

For your safety and that of the animals on-site, we must leave the Ranch to the trained professionals! Restricted areas are continuously monitored by security cameras.

Other Things to Note

Sweet Oaks Winery offers wifi, but the surrounding mountains can cause spotty reception in some areas of the property. Please see our welcome packet for more information.

If you’d like to use the grill, please bring your own propane tank.
