Position Summary:

The primary function of the Ranch Hand is to assist in groundskeeping for Sweet Oaks Ranch. This individual can provide general upkeep of buildings and property. Knowledge of animals and use of equipment is important. We’re looking for a hard-working individual that can help with goats, chickens and other general labor work around the farm such as cleaning, etc. The ideal candidate is strong in rapid problem solving, can maintain a warm, genuine presence, and can effectively prioritize a variety of tasks. A candidate who thrives on collaboration in a small team environment, takes and gives direction well, and supports others generously will be well suited to join the Sweet Oaks family.

Qualifications:

  • Farm Experience: 1-2 years (Preferred)
  • High School or equivalent (Preferred)

Pay: $25/hr

Responsibilities:

  • Caring for the day-to-day needs of a few animals and groundskeeping
  • Maintaining a clean sanctuary environment
  • Tracking and ordering supplies
  • Ranch repairs as needed
  • Assisting in the coordination of on-site projects
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records
  • Other relevant support tasks as assigned by owners
